FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VIP Innovations Offers New Multi-Cultural
Training Programs
Washington-based training and consulting company VIP Innovations,
announces plans to offer two new training programs on the topic
of workplace diversity. Included in the programs are two workshops.
The first, “Diversity: Valuing the Individual,” is suitable
for all levels of staff. The second, “Managing Diversity,”
is targeted at management-to-executive level employees—an
area of the corporate ladder that has traditionally seen fewer minorities
and women.
“Even with the advances of the past decades, there are still
many misconceptions and myths surrounding diversity,” says
Eva Jenkins, President of VIP Innovations. “The goal of our
diversity workshops is to demystify it and clearly show how contrast
adds character and companies can manage diversity as an asset.”
Designed to empower businesses to recruit, manage and leverage a
diverse workforce, the workshops are targeted at businesses both
large and small.
“Diversity is not a short-term trend but a business issue,”
says Jenkins. “As such, it affects businesses of all size.
Our programs illustrate the importance of managing diversity as
a business issue and instruct clients on how to go about doing that.”
Many successful companies already view diversity in the workplace
as a plus. Microsoft, General Motors and Bank One, among others,
have spoken out in a brief directed at the Supreme Court regarding
the Court’s upcoming mid-February response to a case sparked
by the University of Michigan’s affirmative action policy.
According to the multi-million dollar companies’ brief, diversity
creates a more competitive workforce that can “facilitate
unique and creative approaches to problem solving.”
VIP Innovations, an affiliate of the internationally recognized
consulting firm 360 Solutions, offers a variety of "high performance"
management consulting and training. The upcoming diversity workshops
will be held March 25th and March 28th. The cost is $249.00 per
participant. For more information or to register, contact Eva Jenkins
